Abstract

Research into nutritional psychiatry has only recently begun and has already begun expanding rapidly. By definition, nutritional psychiatry studies the intersection of mental health and diet. Historically, psychiatry has focused on either the pharmacological, the psychological, or the genetic components of mental illness.
